Charmin
Office Administrator
Charmin has worked in the dental field since 1993. She has worked as a dental assistant as well as an office administrator. She has enjoyed her years in the dental field helping patients restore their smile and confidence.
In Charmin’s free time, she enjoys spending time with family and her friends, especially her grandson. Charmin enjoys camping and vacationing to new spots across the country; summer is her favorite season. She loves to cook and comes up with new recipes for her family to try. On Sundays, you will find her watching football (Lions & Chiefs) during football season.
Madison
Dental Assistant
Madison grew up in Zeeland MI and graduated from Zeeland West high school in 2020, where she also completed the dental careers program at the careerline tech center in 2018. She has been working as a dental assistant in the Holland area for 5 years. Madison loves that she gets to be a part of a patient's journey to loving and feeling confident in their smile. She also takes pride in being able to make patients feel comfortable and right at home while in the dental chair.
In her spare time Madison enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as camping in the summer.
Carlya
Registered Dental Hygienist
Carlya has been a dental hygienist since 2017. She is from the Holland/Zeeland area, graduated from Zeeland West High School (Go Dux!) and went on to graduate from Grand Rapids Community College. From there, the previous dentist, Dr. Van Appledorn hired her and she’s been in the office ever since.
Carlya enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. If you see her for your next cleaning, you’ll hear many stories of her stepsons and 2 daughters. As a family, they enjoy camping at Silver Lake in summer and off-roading in the sand dunes. They also enjoy attending high school football games and Notre Dame football events in the fall (Go Irish!) as well as watching Lions football together on Sundays.
Jodi
Front Desk Specialist/Insurance Coordinator
Jodi is a life-long resident of Holland. She and her husband have four married children and nine grandkids, aged 1-5 years. Jodi started out working as a dental assistant 40(ish) years ago and is now part-time at the front desk. If you have insurance questions, she’s the one to call!
When she’s not working or spending time with the grandkids, she loves traveling and visiting National Parks, biking, reading, playing pickleball and spending time with family and friends.
Melanie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Melanie has been a Dental Hygienist since 1995. She graduated from Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan where she grew up. She moved to Holland right after graduating from hygiene school. Melanie states that the best part of her job is making people smile.
When Melanie and her husband are not spending time with their seven children and three grandchildren, you will find them in a billiards hall playing league on an 8 ball team. Fun Fact: She has been to Vegas twice for the International Pool Competition. Besides family time and playing pool, she loves traveling and camping in her recently purchased travel trailer.
